Here we go, 2012

So my new year wasn't off to a good start. I don't even have the energy to explain what happened. Let it suffice to say that I welcomed the new year from the ER. Nope, I wasn't hurt or sick but I rushed a family member to the hospital. No results yet but we're hoping for the best. Anyway, the rest of the year's first day was spent running errands, doing household chores and working. I read somewhere that how you spent your New Year is indicative of how the rest of the year will be. So for 2012-- I will be stronger to help people, I will be responsible enough to take care of myself and other people, I will be more hard working to achieve my goals and I will be more courageous to face troubles and problems that come my way. Despite the hardships, this year's amazingness depends on me. That's just one not-good (I refuse to call it bad) day, I still have 365 more days to change it. It's a leap year after all.

To cap it off, here's my favorite 2012 video from Times Square. This reminds me that no matter how bad things go, there are still things worth looking forward to.. like a new beginning. Happy New Year from the tropics, boys and girls!
